The words that keep me going!!

Do not look back and grieve at the past, for it has gone, do not be troubled about the future because it has not yet come, live in the present, make it beautiful and it will be worth remembering...

why is everybody so excited?

Sorang dapat 100, kalau satu kereta, dapat 500 sekali dgn duit minyak..  wahhh??? that is what i'm getting a month for the thing i did..  no wonder la ramai sgt yg join.. duit buta..

My youngest brother got rm50 for joining the rally in Penang last week, he even asked me to join him, not just me but also my hubby that came back for his 2 weeks break.

My bro says: "apa la Kak, bukan buat apa pun, berdiri saja dapat rm50, kalau buat hal sket dapat byk lagi la"

And i was thinking: Oh No!! However if I really go, gave a lil bit of drama at the scene (since i'm a drama queen) I could even get my PRADA sunglasses, earlier than expected...  J.. But when I think again, with my blond hair and all, the whole Malaysia would see me. I’m very recognizable! (Unless I put on the veil)

But i was busy doing something else that night… I decided to spend time with my little nucleus family, and it was priceless!

The conclusion is, everyone was so excited because of the easy money, and don't you guys realized something? Where is Anwar? i tot he is supposed to be the "corrupt" opposition leader.. is it Adil for those who got stuck in the massive traffic jam, who couldn’t even met their mothers in the hospitals, on the way to their own wedding?? Important business deals, what happened if somebody wants to give birth? So would it be BABY BERSIH BORN IN TRAFFIC JAM?? That lucky little baby would make a headline in MERTO the next day, no doubt.

Oh come on... Our leaders, despite of their differences in political backgrounds, some of them were from the same school, from the same class, the same dorm, even share the same room…they do business together, they have coffee together in 5 stars hotels, their children are sent to the best school there is in the world.. They mingle around in luxurious parties cruising in their posh cars, and they are laughing at us. And say. “look fellas, our rakyat are so stupid" blimey! why do we have to fights and make sulky faces with each other. for a mere 100? is that the price of your pride? Oh Come on..

I totally understand this, i have friends from all walks of life, i used to have roommates that is so different from me, somehow i tot we were from different planets, for them i am too "outrageous hard to control and over the top person” they ever met. But we were there for each other when in need…as for example, my very pious wearing long hijab roommate in Harapan who is now a Doctor serving in Kuantan, had to reply a “yell” from my then boyfriend when he was looking for me. He has to yell my name everytime he came over my block, because we were on the 3rd floor, yeah people do get pissed (because we were kind of an annoying couple, being labelled as Romi and Julie in our lectures, we always got caught getting into trouble.. silly college flings i guess) but my room mate, She had to yell back to him at the top of her lung to tell if I was not in the room and not able to answer him. Cellphones? i almost thought that  they never existed or they were only for well of people at that time i guess, I don’t even think my lecturers have it back then… OK You wouldn’t believe she did that the yelling thing, at normal time, she is a very shy person.  Definitely she and her whole family came from a very different political background. I owe her big time.

I still remember a male classmate when I was doing my MSc, very close friend since we were the only two person from our BS class decided to continue studying, he is now a lecturer in Perak, never fail to put on his “Kopiah”. He once told me out of blue when we were standing at the corridor of Bilik Persidangan HBP, “Martina, kalaulaa aku bawak hang balik jumpa mak aku, mesti dia pengsan, tapi bila dah lama kita kenal, rupa-rupanye hang budak baik" I said “oh plslaa wey, jahat sgt ke aku nih?” and i laught  at him.. this guy won’t even sit with me on the passenger  front seat, even though there were only the 2 of us in the car, he would sit at the back while I'm driving (to avoid fitnah, he would say) . He is the one who will express what he thought at point blank, sometimes he tend to hurts me, (mulut dia mmg laser tak hengat la), but when I think back, with me having blond hair, and the improper dresscode for somebody like him, and the amount of other offensive behavior (for him) I might have caused, it is kind of balance out things between us. But we were still friends and I respect him.. he still kids me around if he had the chance to do it.. everyone does this to me, maybe because i am so approachable that they feel so comfortable making silly jokes out of me. Good old times. :)

Iwell, actually I’m writing this because,  while I’m still in my early 30’s, I still have good connection with everyone, and when one day when I’m older and when I’m ready mentally and financially, I’d would love to join into politics, no matter how dirty it is. Politics is dirty but somebody has to do the dirty job somehow. I just want everybody to be happy and live peacefully together.

My background consist of a wide spectrum, multiracial school, interracial marriages among family members, Multilanguage community etc … In a way it has taught me to be more receptive towards others.

I once told my friend, (my buddy who is a diehard Puteri UMNO member) that I had an offer from somebody to be his political secretary in the opposition party and I really hope that this kind of things won’t ruin our friendship in the long run. I asked my soul mate the same thing because it might somehow or rather hurt his career in the future but he is fine with it. My supervisor, who is also my mentor, who helped me with everything he could was so frustrated with his former political comrades, and now is very happy with our new leader and the obvious changes that he made.  After all, it is not the Party, it is not the rally, it is not the movement or anything like that, but it is actually the person who leads. Poise and charismatic, cool and soft spoken yet stern, low profile but full of powerful aura and of course handsome if God permits… won’t our hearts will just melt for this guy. He would get the majority votes from the woman and not forgetting the gays around. I’m just kidding. No offence, but seriously, we are in need of this person. Where the hell are you?

Deep inside, I pray so hard that this man will eventually appear from somewhere and just took over everything, he who really loves his country won’t even allow any chaotic scene that would hurt the masses of people. This person wouldn’t have bad mouthed, or sabotage anyone to raise popularity. The people will do the talking. Politics is just like business, if your product or service is good, you don’t have waste a fortune for the marketing. It will work on its own.

And we will live happily ever after, just like the fairy tales…
