if you are feeling miserable lately... pls READ this

i was reading

"HOW TO MAKE ANYONE LIKE YOU" by Leil Lowndes, well it is about 300 pages, telling us what to do to make anyone like you.. funny eh.. :)

one of the topic disccued in that book is, how to make you happy in order to make anyone like you.. because nobody likes SAD and pathetic people (unless they are a true friend - that leave them with no choice... )

so i requoted what i've read.. and try to summarized it.. i think this one is quite GOOD... if you are familiar with NLP (neurolinguistic programe) you will come across that "negative energy will crate a negative vibes that will attract negative things into your life" its bad right? so in order to make you happy is to shoo away the negative element.. one of the proven ways is:

list 10 people who are closest to you.. and put this beside their names say:
boyfriend (CL)
best friend A (CN) b
est friend B (CS)
mom (CA)
dad (CB)

CL - criticize a lot
CN - criticize neveri
CS - criticise seldom
CA - criticize always
CB - criticize beneficially

if you want to be happy and full of positive energy, ERASE the one with CL and CA (even though its ur mom) from your life.. if its mom (you just cannot avoid mom!!).. just talk to her only when necessary, and the boyfriend.. well LEAVE HIM!

then again.. who needs people who critocize us all the time.. the will only bring ourr morale down, offend us, crash our ego and demotivate us.. WHO NEEDED PEOPLE LIKE THAT IN OUR LIFE? but less that we know.. they ARE actually hanging around us and we are keep crashing our heads to find out why we are so  unhappy and unsuccessful.. u get it now?

tips on buying shoes again!!! from a genuine shoe addict!

i went to the Queensbay Mall last night to get a new pair of black sexy strappy 5" ALDO killer heels that is suppose to be on sale.. i was there last week, i already spent a few hundreds on 2 pair of heels.. but i did not buy the black one.. i bought some nude color pencil heels and a wedges instead.. they have my size in black too.. i was dilly dally and i decided not to buy yet because i fear that mom would be furious when i got home with the shoes!!

but UNFORTUNATELY.. the black sexy strappy 5" killer heels were sold!!!! i really REGRETTED not getting it together with my other ALDOs.. (actually i already bought 5 shoes last month.. but this one was really a bargain!!!) fellas.. if u saw a shoe that cost RM500 and on sale at 70%, and they have your size, just grab it!! don't think too much!! but this rule doesn't apply in buying handbangs tho!! u can always wait till it come down to 70%.. because hand bags doesnt comes in sizes!! see the different?

ohh and again make sure you double check the sizes when you reach the cashier counter.. women have  this weird attitude where they dont wear the shoes instantly like men does.. when you actually open the box 2 months later (finally) for a function or when you are ready to wear it (because you suddenly remembered you still have a new shoe in a box sitting under your bed) the last thing you want is to find out that the shoes are different in sizes.. well honey you bought it on sale!!! no turning back!! it was 2 months ago!! and it cost you a cool few hundreds bucks.. and the last thing you want is to cry out blood!!

next round.. travelling essential for woman.. i have to make a thorough study 1st before i could write on this... :p

shoe shopping

I stay nearby Sunshine Square, Bayan Baru Penang... where i notice they held sales every other  month.. yes.. i'm not kidding.. sales every month for every reason.. and i don't understand why, somehow i even started to feel that i was being cheated, but as a regular shoe shopper, the price really drops, from 10% (for normal items if  you have a member card), 20% and 50%.. my knee length boots that i was eyeing was at 50% off yesterday.. cost around RM70 now, and i saw some new shoes too.. i think i'll grab them one of these day.. or maybe i'll wait until Christmas, but the question is.. can the money wait till Christmas.. one more month to wait!!! erghh!!!

i am an avid shoe lover, i have many shoes. more than 30pairs.. on second thought more than 40 pairs.. (err its more than that!!!!) they are everywhere... 10 boxes in the closet, 20 boxes on the closet, 10 pairs outside the house, a few in my car in my car, a few more in the shoe cabinet, in Tawau (i have 6 pairs in Tawau, including my favourite knee length boots and my wedges!) and i'm getting more..

my favourite type of shoes are thick 5" heels shoes, wedges, knee lengths boots with thick heels.. and sexy strappy heels.. half inch in thickness and 5" high..

tips to buy shoes..

time to buy: in the evening where the feet is all swollen from carrying your body weight, so it is the perfect size, never too small for your feet.. TRY your shoes!!! walk on it!! walk everywhere on it (in the shopping floor) if you are wearing a jeans or a long skirt, try raise the jeans/skirt up to see if the shoe is suitable for short dresses/pants.. the most important thing to do is to TRY it!! and check the size twice before you leave the counter... you dont want to come home and put the thing under your bed and when u finally unboxed it, you find out the sizes are different.. at that moment, crying out blood wont change anything!

size to buy: if you are buying a pair of high heel, slip on (not the type that will hurt and swell the back of ur heels and ankle) buy it one size smaller reason??
1. the shoes will expand
2. it is high heel and the tendency for your feet to be pushed forward and downward is high and if your are wearing your normal shoe size, it will leave a gap at the back in a matter of weeks. It looks af if you are borrowing somebody elses shoes, especially when you wear this favourite pair every day.. i have 4 favourie pair and i take turn wearing them to prolong their lifespan.. :)

what to buy - if you are a fan of high heel.. (i am a die hard fan for 5" heels) and wear it everyday without fail.. do get a thick one.. and especially if you have thick calf like i do, wedges and thick heels really compliment the thick calf.. avoid pencil heels.. because the last thing you want is to look like an elephant with a girafe legs.. just imagine how much pressure you are putting to the heels.. and they must be cursinng you at the same time.. (but i have a few of this.. untouched in the shoe box for years! i cannot find a suitable occassion to wear them yet, the reason i bought them were simple, they are just too pretty and on sale, the two very strong irresistable reason)

how to care for your shoes

1. NEVER throw away the boxes...
2. NEVER throw away the silica gel in the boxes (my son used to play with them and swallow it when he was a baby and i got so panickes i rushed him a to clinic and the doctor said just let him drink plenty of water.. its just silica - earth??)
3. wipe and brushed them every time you want to keep them in the shoebox or shoe cabinet after you wear it
4. for wedges, never let the dirt rest at the heels because it wont come out easily, use vanish (a brand of oxidized detergent)  and wipe it with a wet clean cloth.. and dry cloth never try "water jet" the dirt on the shoes, it will be the last time you see it wearable.. i've done that to clean my 5" cork wedges (while i was cleaning my house garage with a water jet, it really cleans the tiles without me having to brush it) and the shoes are now totally damaged.. and they are expensive pair of shoes!! stupid me!

my wish
i wish i have time to snap each of every one of my shoe and start labelling them and organizing them following the color codes.. :p but too lazy to do it.. reason is, they are scattered everywhere.. my friends were right, i need a shoe closet (if not a shoe house.. ;p)

love your shoes, wear/treat them with respect.. a good pair of shoes will make you look GOOD, and keep  complimenting your overall appearance.. keep you comfortable and confident walking in/with them..just like your spouse.. shoes are one of the many symbols of fullfilment and pride.. esp branded expensive shoes... i love all my shoes..  hope you do too.. xoxo

RED SWOLLEN EYES and its remedy

well honey.. so many things happened to me these past few weeks..
i was busy accompanying my hubby, (hes back for some business) being his chaffeur, entertaining him.. and so much more.. and there was Hari Raya Haji (Eid Adhaj (is it???) and.. chaffeuring again... to KL back and forth.. i fell sick, had high fever, my gradmother was admitted.. then was discharged.. i was in KL, came back, fell sick again, with heavy bleeding and passing out occasionally.. and caught an eye infection from the kids at home (both eyes!).. and it was SO BAD i look like a vampire with a frog face...

and sadly, on Thursday morning 17th of November, my beloved grandmother passed away... the iron woman of my life.. my idol! i was so sad for not being able to be at her side during the final days.. i was also badly infected, the last thing i wanted was to pass all my germs to her.. and now she is gone.. but when i visited her on the day she left us, she was just like sleeping... and i feel relieved to see her like that.. my aunt told me she went in her sleep peacefully..  i'm going to miss you nenek!!! your cooking, your nags, your stories, your complaints.. everything!! mom still cries.. God bless grandma's soul Al-fatihah...

and i was at grandma funerals wearing the Huge Sunglasses because of my read swollen eyes, and it was so bad! i have to put it on all the time, everywhere!!.. indoor/outdoor/day/nite!! and somebody really try to pull a joke out of my condition.. "i tot it was fashion!" that was what my uncle said to me.. and our dear YB Datuk Dr. Helmi was there visiting, he was my father's friend and my mom used to be his regular patient (its not because of his relation with my parents but he was the former ADUN of the area... and grandma was the 5th house he visited that day alone) and there i was having this eye infection, being  most unpresentable me, and was not able to socialize with him.. there goes my chance of lobbying but its grandmas funeral.. so i couldnt care less..
i practically went everywhere with my shades on... i picked up my son from school wearing a shades (which is normal) and still having it on while having a conversation with the kids moms and his teachers.. and when i take off the shades to show them the eyes condition.. they just couldn't believe how bad they were.. and luckily, one of the kids mother, an Indian lady just came back from India with a shaved head.. was telling me to soak a handkerchief into tumeric water (doesn't matter if its the real tumeric or the powder) and put it on the eyes.. it will soothes the swell.. and when night came, i did what she said.. and guees what! IT WORKS!and THANK GOD!!! (thanks to the antiseptic thing in the tumeric) and when i'm done with putting damp cotton square on my eyes, i mixed the tumeric water with some rice flour and smear it all over my face like a mask and sleep on it!! and ask my sister to do the same.. and the next morning... walah!! we have very fresh looking face ever! better than any expensive mask! :) the best thing about this mixture is, you can use it for frying some banana fritters or some sweet potato later... or vise versa.. so the mixture wont go to waste! isn't that awesome! and i remember my grandma, she never wasted anything and she is one LOADED lady!

so.. TUMERIC for swollen eyes!!! not the internal redness.. since i'm allergic to eye drops (and ear drops) the only cure for conjuctivitis to me is plenty of sleep... and i ain't getting any.. it has been 4 days now... and counting....

UNWANTED HAIR... Uhhhhh!!!

i have told my friend last night that i would write something about unwanted hair..

if you are not a hairy person like me (my hair grow healthily at all the wrong places), you might want to skip this totally.. but if you are a hairy person..  i know this topic is something that u really wanted to explore more..

the hair I'm referring to is other than the hair that grow on your head.. you should know that by now... women who have a little more testosterone than its normal acceptable amount will have this problem for sure..Just like me..and the problem is even more crucial when i had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. (and left me with one ovary which is the main factory for estrogen) and imbalance of female hormone.. and i have to live on pills.. like evening primrose oil, all the JAMU (the Indonesian herbs pills), collagen, soy extract.. etc etc just to maintain a balance hormone composition.. and it is all COSTLY!!!

http://women.webmd.com/normal-testosterone-and-estrogen-levels-in-women

GETTING rid of hair.. i've used some methods..
A. SHAVING

good for quickie and ASAP situation
only shave on your
1.legs
2.underarms
3.eye brow (ask professional to do it!!! please!)
4.and the traingle - u know where

NEVER shave your upper lips and any other parts that is hairy

good thing - the hair disappear, your legs are clean shaven but in my case the 1st sight of hair appear 6 hours later.. NO KIDDING! that is why i say - only good during emergency! at least spare this in your toiletries bag..

(BY THE WAY THIS INFO IS APPLICABLE FOR WOMAN ONLY!)

B. Dilapidating cream eg: VEET.. (hubby wished that the service issue this thing FOC for all serviceman!) price at rm17+ at major pharmacies.. :)
this one works wonders!! if you only have the time and could stand the smear and mess..
it says at the tube do not leave more than 3 minutes but i normally leave it for 20minutes, use the spatula to remove the cream.. and walla!! all clean and clear!!! i love this cream.. designated for the hard to reach area.. u know where.. the tube says do not use it there but i use it anyway!! and loving it since the very 1st use!!

VEET
where to use it
1.the triangle area
2.upper lips (3 minutes is OK!)
3.legs

not to use
underarm - the skin is very thin and it will hurt you so badly! trust me!!

BEWARE OF DANGER:
NEVER USE VEET AT THE SAME PLACE TWICE REPEATEDLY (i did that because I tot i wanted to get rid of the remaining hair BURNT MY SKIN! IT WAS SO PAINFUL!!!!)
use it only after 24 hours or more!!!

C. TWEEZER
erm... one of my friend use it there.. yerp one by one.. don't ask me how but she did it.. and i'm still amazed! and i use it at my upper body part.. here and there.. its too embarassing to share with the world the amount of hair and its location i actually have so i dont think i want to be so direct.. :p

tweezer is good to get rid of ugly eye brows..

D. WAXING STRIPS it cost around rm17 a box from major pharmacies
i love this if somebody else do it for me.. it is sticky and messy and a lot of hassle
use it everywhere... but dont leave it too long when u use it in the underarm area..
i had a moment when, my sister put a wax strip on my left underarm and she went to talk to her boyfriend for half an hour and my skin was turning red and all itchy and left me with a burn mark later.. Thank God it heals back to normal.. i've yet to try Brazillian waxing.. cost around RM130.. i've waxed my legs for rm65 and upper lips for rm15 somewhere in Gurney Plaza Penang.. and i told them i would want to try their Brazillian waxing.. some people like it.. some people coudnt stand the pain.. well, i will definitely share with you how the actual feeling is when i'm ready.. :p

where to use waxing strips
1. legs
2. bikini line
3. under arms
4. upper lips

E. EPILATOR
I FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS MACHINE after my friend reccomended this to me and i never have to use all of the above again i bought it at RM169 from Guardian... ! except for "VEET"ing my upper lips ans my neither region.. (well the pain is quite unbearrable for those area mentioned!)

i epilate my legs every week or every fortnight now.. clean and clear.. i LOVE it so much!!! it is painful, it is not like waxing where the hair is being pulled simultaneosly, this one the hair is being pulled rather individually or a few strands at a time.. ouch factor is.. OUCH!!!

the bad thing about this epilator machine is it is an electricalk device with long wires.. i really hope that they will come out with a abttery operated type.. with both shaving and epilating blades.. (they have both heads but i bought the single one!!!)

where to use this epilator
1. legs
2. under arms
3. bikini line
4. toe hairs

not reccomended to use at
1.upper lips
2.brow area
3. tits area

ingrown hair is expected... but keep brushing your legs with a coarse brush when you take a bath.. it will help with the ingrown hair.. :)

F. LASER
this is permanent.. and is very costly!!
for the triangle it cost around RM7000 (yes seven thousand) and you have to go there a few times stripiing to the professionals..

for the under arms it cost around RM4K..

one of my rich God sister showed me her bills.. she purposely showed it to me because she said it was so EXPENSIVE!! her whole month salary.. (well she was getting around 8K per month!)
so if you have the extra cash.. go for this one.. and it is permanent, but somehow if you happened to meet a spouse that wants u to have hair hear and there.. u are in trouble... because you have to think of getting a hair implant!! :p

well honey.. i think this is what i've got to share about getting rid with those unwanted hair.. so try it all.. to a clean and clear unwanted hair free days ahead!!!

dunno what to wear fellas? you are not alone but i have some tips to share!

i always have this
"i have nothing" to wear syndrom and spent plenty of time scrutinizing my wardrobe.. searching for something that would interest me every day, without failing..

i read somewhere.. they say

DAYTIME ; wear something simple.. but if u like striking colour, tame it down with khakis or black or white.. no RED lipstick to go with it.. simple hairdo.. mild perfume.. DAYTIME is about SIMPLICITY and looking SWEET with minimal make up.. warm colour, the browns, and light brown, orangee.. (but i totally go against this colour chart. i love blue/purple/green eye shadows because i look good on it.. DAY or NITE.. what the heck!)

NIGHT: ermm.. wear something that show some sex appeal.. (but don't start flaunting or flashing ur twins or butss or anything like that OK!!) sex appeal means.. something that makes u feel extra elegant and of course it must be comfortable! something with sequins, something that sparks, in rich colours, put on ur shawl, stronger smelling fragrances.. and more blings!!

I LOVE BLINGS! but RED lipstick is an option really.. anyhow i'm not a fan.. i love pinkish hues.. RED makes you u look more mature (another much polite word for OLD). it looks odd on me though and i don't want to add my already old age with a stroke of RED tint... if your skin permits, you'll look sexy in BRIGHT RED lipstick like Scarlet Johansson (google her).. but if you have darker skin tone like mine just GIVE YOUR RED LIPSTICK AWAY TO SOMEONE FAIRER.. or let your son play with it.. make an art out of it.. use it for drawing whatever.. fair enuff (at least the thing won't go to waste)

HEADGEARS? unless you are attending Prince William's Wedding (Duke of Cambridge if u must know), do leave the HEADGEAR at home.. day or nite.. it is so weird but i did bought one after watching Prince William got married (looks cool on other people's head!), but i dare not wear it beyond my house compound.. not just yet.. i dont think people around me are ready for this kind of idiosyncrasy.. (it looks like as if i have a bird on my head)

after all this tips.. (that i've learned from somewhere) i still have this "i have nothing to wear" thing in me.. the only thing that i should do is GO SHOPPING for new clothes i guess.. but there is NO MORE space for new clothes!!! OMG.. i'm seriously a spoilt person!

SAKIT HATI!

suddenly i feel so DOWN.. ada saja yang nak mencabar kewibawaan n kredibiliti aku.. kenapa arr? i don't dress like phua chu kang or at least dress like a man, it doesn't mean that i am weak.. i work in a man's world, full of harshness, foul languages and of course sexual harrasment.. i'm so used to it.. and i still survive..

i don't think those peope who interviewed me, who have prefixes in front of their names ever climbs half the buildings i climb, and they called themselves building surveyors? lame lame... theoretically yeah.. but what do they know really? huh come on! do you ever know that i have lost one of my ovary because it got twisted when i climb onto a 50ft rooftop, up and down 6 times.. and now i'm only half woman!

i did tell my students that building surveyors must have perfect BMI.. just like people in the military (but i don't think they care about BMIs either) overweight means, they wont fit into the catladder because they are just a bunch of fat bumps!! aku sakit hati OK! dah 2 tahun aku tunggu!!! apa lagi yang korang nak aku buktikan ha? nak suruh aku amik xm kenapa pulak.. ramai jer org yang tak amik xm boleh dapat professional kenapa aku tak boleh? asik cakap aku nih half bake.. apa half bake? depan aku berani pulak cakap pasal half bake2 nih.. depan Sr Z (undisclose name) tak berani langsung! entah apa2!! marah nih!!! mendidih!!!!

lagi satu.. kalau dah org lain buat benda yang aku nak buat.. dengan lebih elok.. biaqlaa.. aku takder duit nak buat.. aku dah try mintak tapi takder org nak bagi.. so biaqlaaa... sebab tu la aku tak suka nak share idea aku dengan sapa2 pun.. banyak gila OPPORTUNIST dalam dunia nih.. KIRI KANAN DEPAN BELAKANG... penah dengar TRADE SECRET??? sebab tu la org tak sembang biznes kat kedai kopi!! aku yang buat senyap2 mcm nih pun org rembat idea aku.... takper laa... i have different intention altogether.. not for profit but to help others.. my intention is pure!! org yang baca benda nih wouldn't understand tapi BFF aku akan paham.. dan.. ada la pulak family members yang being so unsupportive.. memperlekehkan aku.. macamla aku nih loser.. aku taulaa hang banyak duit.. satu sen pun tak nak tolong aku.. tolong org lain boleh la pulak.. tolong bagi free2 buta2 jer.. itu family member tu... uhhh mmg tak best!!! dalam satu buku yang aku baca org yg tulis nih mmg pakar gila bab2 motivasi2 ni, dia cakap.. family member la yg akan dengki lebih2 yang akan condemn lebih2... jgn tak tau OK.. itu mat saleh tu.. so BEWARE!!! macam2 hal kan.. its ok.. anyway takper, last month bulan yang paling best dalam hidup aku.. bulan nih ada sedit tak berapa best.. next month mesti best!!! God have other plans for me.. :) and i know.. because every clouds have a silver lining.. cheers!!!

HODOH OK!

ok dah lepas berus bagai nak rak.. malam2 tim nak tido jgn lupa sapu losyen.. masa ni boleh jer suruh husband/wife sapukan.. i did that for my other half sebab aku tak nak kaki dia jadi hodoh.. aku tibai pakai losyen muka aku kat kaki (kaki aku la bukan kaki hubby aku sebab dia tak perlukan collagen kat kaki) ala.. sama jerr isi kandungan dia... aku ada attend satu beauty course by a world renowned brand AVON that cost me a few hundreds.. tapi ilmu yang instructor dia share mmg best.. dia kata kalau lotion mata boleh -pakai kat muka, kalau lotion muka boleh pakai kat badan... tapi lotion badan tak boleh reverse balik.. faham ?? so aku pun apa lagi ambik jer krim muka whitening collagen entah apa2 dan sapu seluruh badan.. termasuk la kaki aku sekali.. cepat sikit abis kan.. boleh beli brand lain pulak (this is what i did untuk cepat2 habiskan lotion/krirm muka aku) yang bestnya, aku mmg nampak perubahan kat rupabentuk kaki aku.. sentiasa lembab dan.. aku suka tengok kaki aku sekarang.. aku nih kulit tanned (tak nak mengaku gelap OK!) tapi kaki aku merah2 hehe :) syok sendiri la pulak kan.. so what!!!

banyak petua aku nak share.. mak aku suka laa ambik daun2 (mcm2 daun yang mak kita selalu pakai untuk masak..) EXCEPT DAUN KARI OK!! u dont want ur feet to end up smelling like fish curry..  rebus dengan air panas,. kalau dan nama rebus tu mmg la kena sampai mendidih lepas tu tunggu suam sikit dan rendam kaki sampailaa air tu sejuk.. pastu air tu recycle buat siram pokok.. jgn la pi jadi pak pandir rendam dalam air panas menggelegak pulak.. nanti naya jer aku kena saman sebab ajar tak abis.. kalau ada tawas, rendam tawas dalam air panas & rendam kaki, semua toksin akan keluar (itu cakap org la.. )

on a journey again....

I started my day very early on Thursday.. leaving from home at 7.30am, got into the 1st bus to KL, its an 8am bus Konsortium (satisfaction guaranteed).. Don't ever ride on any other busses especially Fivestar buses, you'll have the worst journey you could ever imagined!! For instance, A short 3 hours journey could be dragged to 8 hours (as what had happened to my other half last month).. So DONT ever get overwhelmed with the tickets usherers at the bus station...  just go straight to Konsortium Counter (unless you have no other choices which is too bad)

I reached KL as scheduled, around noon... i quickly made my way up to puduraya ticket counter.. and get the earliest bus to LCCT (Starshuttle).. and i managed..then i have to walk all the way to MYDIN bus stop there because all the busses bound to LCCT stops there. Oh.. little that i know that you could also buy the bus ticket at the MYDIN bus stop itself.. no need to go through all the troubles of climbing staircase.. RM12 from puduraya to LCCT.. a smooth plus minus 45 minutes ride.. i was really happy!

I reached LCCT and quickly check in at the self check in kiosk, tried to find a seat in the flood of people.. managed to find one.. :) settle myself down and waited till 5pm.. and i was killing the time by utilizing the 3 hours free wifi provided by LCCT management. Oh Pls.. why it has to be 3 hours??? why not all day long???  A little too calculative ain't it??? However, my laptop battery only lasted for about 2 hours the most. i had the chance to chat with a few friends.. wishing me a safe journey.. You guys were sooo sweet!!! at least you managed to lift up my mood waiting for my flight for a couple more hours...

I finally went in at 5 something.. waited for half an hour or so, managed to get my cellphone recharged and then.. i heard the announcement and the last thing i know.. i'm ready to go.. the flight was smooth. Thank God. Good weather. Thank God. Experienced Pilot. Thank God again.. oh.. i did not buy buy a prebook meal so i only managed to have chicken rice for iftar because everything else was sold out!! (i was drooling for the beriani the girl beside me was having.. erghhh!!! lesson learnt!!! prebook my meal if i want to eat something good)... and this is the first time i break- fast at 30000 ft above sea level.. sky high iftar.. :)

i was a little uncomfortable with the fact that no one would come and fetch me at Tawau airport when i arrived.. its nothing foreign because this is the 5th time i'm here, i'm not worried of getting to the camp on my own because taxi are easy and so convenient, but a little emotionally disturbed because i know i wont be getting any welcoming hugs and kisses from anyone at the airport..sad isn't it.. oh come on!! i flew so far away and no welcoming hugs and kisses???? i'm expecting a bouquet of flowers or something plus some romantic gestures from heroes from the fairy tale would do..  but all that only happened in my dreams.. i am a tough girl and immediately after touch down, i get a taxi ticket from a counter cost me RM45.00 (but everything was all in order!! kudos to Tawau Air Port Taxi!) and get myself into a taxi, and well.. in a matter of a few seconds, i was already chit chatting with the driver. a very nice 50 something man, have 4 kids , all living in the peninsular, 1 doing masters in UPSI, 1 doing medical in UKM... 1 working in a big company, 1 working in klang.. so i'm quite good at "chatting up" people.. they opened up.. the really did.. and the only thing the driver knows about me is i'm from Penang and i'm going to Kem Kukusan.. i should be a spy!

umm..my ride was already at the gate when i arrived, there he was, wearing a blue baju melayu (just came back from terawih wajib) smiling at me in the car, come on at least help me carry my bags into the car.. ahh nevermind.. he sent me to the mess, and went to the room.. well nothing changes from the last time i came here, but there is an LCD Tv in the room.. which i'll definitely bring back and put in my new house..:) .. that is all about it.. my 5th time journey coming to Tawau.

what i had in mind... recaptured

I had this headache thinking about things that happened around me lately. Apparently i'm growing a little wiser than before, i think my judgement over things has improved.. i just hope that some people would understand some law of the nature but unfortunately they don't.

the 1st law..
believe in miracles, if you believe there is God, you have to believe in miracles too.. miracles happened to me EVERYDAY... sometimes left me gaping (yeah its ugly) thinking about what just happened.. it could be anything.. anything at all..miracles happened to me yesterday when i hit a guy's new honda city bumper and he just say.. "pi blah la" uhh that's about it?the bumper was quite bad.. and he just let me go?? what a lucky day!!!

2nd law
what you give you will get back..
no matter if its money, or material.. or time or handbags.. shoes.. or you give people a heart ache or a broken heart (which is two different things altogether)you will get back.. GOD have his own way to work on things, sometimes you even have to pay in CASH.. i believe in this too.. Where do you think the word KARMA came from??

3rd law
it is a bit confusing when you dont know what you want in your life and why you want it. i know exactly what i want. i know how to get there. there are obstacles along the way (no doubts) that i need to do constant changes in my plans of reaching the ULTIMATE goals.. "do what you like most and do it the best you can".. i know what i like, i know what my expertise is.. i know what i want to achieve in life.. i have my future plans written in a BIG BOOK that i reviewed often.. (this is since schooldays, i am very practical but at the same time emotional that is why i need to anchor my foundation into something.. and i have achieved almost all that i stated on the list.. thank GOD!)

4th law
Think BIG but be humble.. If you want to be rich, you must not only think of how to be rich but why do you want to be rich and what you will do when you are rich.. Rich must not only be monetary but also rich at heart, if your heart is full of all the wicked and unthinkable feelings, you will only bring more harm than good .. its odd but some people despise it when others are doing better especially when they are not doing that well.. the smirks, the unnecessary remarks.. they simply loathe it.. (but they deserve to feel that way because they feel offended and insecure..so much of complications in their lives that they only have limited resources to make ends meet.. ) its negative energy for you.. the next thing you know you would be thinking why your business suddenly not making any profit.. the well off would come out with a lot of reason to opposed this kind of thinking but we have to think of others feelings too, dont tell your your x-classmate that your are wearing a rm50K ring when the only ring she know is her rm50 FAKE diamond. so i'd say its better to stay humble.. share of your secret love life instead.. people love to hear gossips.. flourished them with what they want to hear..

5th law..
life is like a wheel.. you will come up and you will go down.. put that in mind.. when a lot of people despise you, you will come down sooner.. dont boast too much ok.. i hate it other people hate it too..

6th..
talk less especially of what you do unless you are being asked.. some people dont like it.. birds of a feathers flock together.. so talk more if only you feel the person communicating with you are comfortable of the topic.. especially when it involve business..dont talk about perfumes when you are meeting a sewer engineer? or should you??

7th
respect others, especially the elderly.. they will pray for you.. their prayers are sacred!! Trust me.. and respect others for their differences in life perspectives.. respect the fact that people have different views on the simplest things.. they have their own reason to think as they do.. you might be thinking out off the box but i already thinking out off the atmosphere.. when you say you are good because you could think 5 steps ahead.. other people could think 101 steps ahead and is proven in history.. i know because somebody read this to me.. he is a general from one of the china empire.. somehow i forgot his name..

8th
Give more but to those who really appreciates.. its a win-win you feel happy and blessed because you could help others, and they feel happy because you simply make their day.. how to differentiate? you could never go wrong with the genuine respond from body language.. i once gave my precious trousers that i bought with the money i saved during schooldays to somebody, it was new i love it so much but i have to give it away because it doenst fit my "new figure".. only to find out that person use it as a foot wipe.. my heart filled with tears.. that is all i could say.

9th
read a lot.. i promised myself to buy a book for every pair of shoes that i bought.. and now i ended up buying more books and less shoes, books are expensive (but you could get tax rebate) at the same time the lesson you get from every book is priceless.. reading is the best source of referrence for anything under the sky.. either its rocket science, metaphysics, fitness, food, sex.. u name it.. it does wonders to my mind and my perspective of life..

10th
LOVE yourself know your limit
The only person i want to impress is MYSELF (i'm surely lying through my teeth), whatever i do.. its none of your business.. i have my OWN AGENDA and PLANNING on things.. (this is somehow true)
some people say it is better to take baby steps than to sprint and pass out after the 1st 100m.. if you want to win GOLD medal for running GO AHEAD! i will do long jump instead.. and i know definitely i could win GOLD too.. no point going after the same thing when there is a lot more to do, apart from what you are doing.. GET IT?

11th..
do what your heart tells you to do.. but don't do it if it is against your conscience.. so i'd say do what your heart tells you to do with a strong foundation and life principles.. spread your wings and fly to the "right destination".. do you even know that all the birds fly with a destination in mind? its the law of the nature.. simple but true.. we must have a purpose in life.. i know mine but do you know yours? QUESTION?? after college, marriage, kids, starting a biz then what next???i'm smiling.. i only have to figure out how to get there.. using the road less traveled (far, unkempt, quiet.. less people.. )or the road with massive congestion which is of course the short cut that will caught me in misery (who love traffic jams anyway?)

12th..
thank GOD.. believe in GOD.. ask for help.. ask for guidance.. be thankfull.. all the time.. everywhere.. GOD knows every answer to every question.. i'm not a preacher but i know whatever i do, without GOD consent, i will only be in a vacuum.. lost..without any direction.. with no guidance..

when the word BIBIK is "mistakenly" abused

One thing about "bibik", My late Maternal Grandfather is a Javanese, and he speaks Java of course.. and the few words we inherited from him is Bibik and Paman (stands for aunts and uncle as in Mak Long, Pak Long, Mak Ngah, Mak Teh bla..bla as normal Malays community would use).

I understand that a lot of people been using Bibik to refer to their Indonesian Maids, u see.. it is kind of disturbs me though because it doesnt convey the exact meaning... i'm not being overrated when i say i kind of offended because i'm obviously a Bibik too, since that i have a niece now.

The right word to use is, Nanny or what is wrong for using maids instead? i have 7 BIBIKS, and i love them all.. and of course they are my aunts, my mom's female siblings. not Maids.. its kind of hurt my sensitivity. Thats all. Unless you are treating them as one of your aunts, which is with respect and love by all means call them  bibik, they deserves the title. You dont simply refer your Mak Teh as your maids aren't u?

Maybe you guys just aren't aware..  Some Javanese descendance might have agreed with me... Aren't you. Am i saying the wrong thing?

why is everybody so excited?

Sorang dapat 100, kalau satu kereta, dapat 500 sekali dgn duit minyak..  wahhh??? that is what i'm getting a month for the thing i did..  no wonder la ramai sgt yg join.. duit buta..

My youngest brother got rm50 for joining the rally in Penang last week, he even asked me to join him, not just me but also my hubby that came back for his 2 weeks break.

My bro says: "apa la Kak, bukan buat apa pun, berdiri saja dapat rm50, kalau buat hal sket dapat byk lagi la"

And i was thinking: Oh No!! However if I really go, gave a lil bit of drama at the scene (since i'm a drama queen) I could even get my PRADA sunglasses, earlier than expected...  J.. But when I think again, with my blond hair and all, the whole Malaysia would see me. I’m very recognizable! (Unless I put on the veil)

But i was busy doing something else that night… I decided to spend time with my little nucleus family, and it was priceless!

The conclusion is, everyone was so excited because of the easy money, and don't you guys realized something? Where is Anwar? i tot he is supposed to be the "corrupt" opposition leader.. is it Adil for those who got stuck in the massive traffic jam, who couldn’t even met their mothers in the hospitals, on the way to their own wedding?? Important business deals, what happened if somebody wants to give birth? So would it be BABY BERSIH BORN IN TRAFFIC JAM?? That lucky little baby would make a headline in MERTO the next day, no doubt.

Oh come on... Our leaders, despite of their differences in political backgrounds, some of them were from the same school, from the same class, the same dorm, even share the same room…they do business together, they have coffee together in 5 stars hotels, their children are sent to the best school there is in the world.. They mingle around in luxurious parties cruising in their posh cars, and they are laughing at us. And say. “look fellas, our rakyat are so stupid" blimey! why do we have to fights and make sulky faces with each other. for a mere 100? is that the price of your pride? Oh Come on..

I totally understand this, i have friends from all walks of life, i used to have roommates that is so different from me, somehow i tot we were from different planets, for them i am too "outrageous hard to control and over the top person” they ever met. But we were there for each other when in need…as for example, my very pious wearing long hijab roommate in Harapan who is now a Doctor serving in Kuantan, had to reply a “yell” from my then boyfriend when he was looking for me. He has to yell my name everytime he came over my block, because we were on the 3rd floor, yeah people do get pissed (because we were kind of an annoying couple, being labelled as Romi and Julie in our lectures, we always got caught getting into trouble.. silly college flings i guess) but my room mate, She had to yell back to him at the top of her lung to tell if I was not in the room and not able to answer him. Cellphones? i almost thought that  they never existed or they were only for well of people at that time i guess, I don’t even think my lecturers have it back then… OK You wouldn’t believe she did that the yelling thing, at normal time, she is a very shy person.  Definitely she and her whole family came from a very different political background. I owe her big time.

I still remember a male classmate when I was doing my MSc, very close friend since we were the only two person from our BS class decided to continue studying, he is now a lecturer in Perak, never fail to put on his “Kopiah”. He once told me out of blue when we were standing at the corridor of Bilik Persidangan HBP, “Martina, kalaulaa aku bawak hang balik jumpa mak aku, mesti dia pengsan, tapi bila dah lama kita kenal, rupa-rupanye hang budak baik" I said “oh plslaa wey, jahat sgt ke aku nih?” and i laught  at him.. this guy won’t even sit with me on the passenger  front seat, even though there were only the 2 of us in the car, he would sit at the back while I'm driving (to avoid fitnah, he would say) . He is the one who will express what he thought at point blank, sometimes he tend to hurts me, (mulut dia mmg laser tak hengat la), but when I think back, with me having blond hair, and the improper dresscode for somebody like him, and the amount of other offensive behavior (for him) I might have caused, it is kind of balance out things between us. But we were still friends and I respect him.. he still kids me around if he had the chance to do it.. everyone does this to me, maybe because i am so approachable that they feel so comfortable making silly jokes out of me. Good old times. :)

Iwell, actually I’m writing this because,  while I’m still in my early 30’s, I still have good connection with everyone, and when one day when I’m older and when I’m ready mentally and financially, I’d would love to join into politics, no matter how dirty it is. Politics is dirty but somebody has to do the dirty job somehow. I just want everybody to be happy and live peacefully together.

My background consist of a wide spectrum, multiracial school, interracial marriages among family members, Multilanguage community etc … In a way it has taught me to be more receptive towards others.

I once told my friend, (my buddy who is a diehard Puteri UMNO member) that I had an offer from somebody to be his political secretary in the opposition party and I really hope that this kind of things won’t ruin our friendship in the long run. I asked my soul mate the same thing because it might somehow or rather hurt his career in the future but he is fine with it. My supervisor, who is also my mentor, who helped me with everything he could was so frustrated with his former political comrades, and now is very happy with our new leader and the obvious changes that he made.  After all, it is not the Party, it is not the rally, it is not the movement or anything like that, but it is actually the person who leads. Poise and charismatic, cool and soft spoken yet stern, low profile but full of powerful aura and of course handsome if God permits… won’t our hearts will just melt for this guy. He would get the majority votes from the woman and not forgetting the gays around. I’m just kidding. No offence, but seriously, we are in need of this person. Where the hell are you?

Deep inside, I pray so hard that this man will eventually appear from somewhere and just took over everything, he who really loves his country won’t even allow any chaotic scene that would hurt the masses of people. This person wouldn’t have bad mouthed, or sabotage anyone to raise popularity. The people will do the talking. Politics is just like business, if your product or service is good, you don’t have waste a fortune for the marketing. It will work on its own.

And we will live happily ever after, just like the fairy tales…

care for a bus ride?

Fellas, just one simple question.. when was the last time you'v ebeen to Puduraya Bus Terminal? I was there on Sunday (came from Penang to KL), Monday (From Pudu To KLIA and back)  and Tuesday (from KL to Penang).. to be frank, the new terminal kind of exceeds my expectation..

3 stories, a wole storey of air conditioned waiting area, the ticket counter was just like what you would find in the airport, just better, the floor ias carpetted.. Blimey! Carpetted floor for a bus terminal!! It it was really very comfortable, nomore smoke, no more people congestion.. Way better than LCCT..(Sorry to say but it is!!!)

I'm a frequent traveller, i sometimes soend the nigh  in LCCT, and with the low fares they were offering, more and more people choose to fly nowadays. At one glance, the airport sort of remind me of the hot and stuffy Puduraya.

and for a change, why dont you guys give a visit to Puduraya now and start rating.. i'm sure you wont be disappointed. :)
